Last weekend was the last of our series of 4 festivals with the Extrema Family! Extrema Outdoor Belgium, the first edition of the festival in Belgium, and again we hosted our Bohemian Temple stage! We want to thank Extrema for this amazing opportunity! We hosted our Bohemian Temple Stage 4 times in 3 different countries and it was a wonderful trip. We met a lot of beautiful people and got a lot of love. Thanks to everybody who supported us!

The expectations where high this time. Not only because this time the total stage would be projection mapped. But also because Solar Weekend festival is one of the most creative festivals out there. So we came prepared. We had Extrema Outdoor Norway and NL before and were trained for the main event of the season. All the special features like the Sky beam in the pyramid top, the black-light illuminated inside, the white guardians and the projection mapping. It all worked out.

Sober Industries won the Sportlife Vibes unbox your freshness challange and was filmed for one day. In only three hours we build a sculpture that was later project mapped by Studio Rewind and Matthias Oostrik. MTV filmed the day for their show ‘MTV Was Here’. Check this video for some behind the scene footage. The actual show will be broadcasted on Saturday June 4th, 2011 18.35 (CEST).

The sun is shining and we are craving for some outdoor rave action! Last year the Triphouse Rotterdam crew took over the park on several occasions for a sundrenched sunday afternoon session filled with good music, lovely people and some good old bbq’ing. This spring and summer we are bringing back the Hard Mellow Park parties.
The first edition will be this friday (april 22nd), weather forecast is looking superb with an average temperature of 24 degrees Celsius. Bring your own drinks and food. We will set up a big bbq open for everyone to prepare their food. The party starts around 13:00 and will continue till sundawn.
The line up will include several Triphouse Rotterdam resident dj’s on rotation plus some special guest performances. As always we will bring you the finest in deep and funky forward thinking electronic music.

Van 14 tot 23 is er een podium buiten op het terras, na 23 uur gaan we keihard door in de club. Blender binnen zal overigens ook gewoon de gehele dag open zijn. De programmering is in handen van Eigenwijs Produkties en het decor en de nodige live art worden gedaan door Sober Industries.

City Safari Blue geeft om 16 uur een liveshow weg die je niet wilt missen, Pop on Acid doet ook een middagsessie, Triphouse Rotterdam gaat een exclusieve houseclassics special doen live met full band vanaf 18 uur, Timeaux & Post pompen een speedgarage/house set in de avond en afsluiter van het buitenpodium is niemand minder dan FEEST DJ RUUUUUUD. Vanaf 23:00 gaan we naar binnen en staan Julio & Ben Fresh op het programma tot een uur of 01:30, dan is het aan de heren van Diephuis om het geheel soulful af te sluiten. Don’t miss!

Sober Industries and Studio Rewind took the Tiger mapping project to another level. For the ‘Rotterdamse Museumnacht2011′ we build 2 large sculptures. Both sculptures were projected with mapped visuals. New in this project was the interactive part. The spectators were able to control the visuals projected by a custom made cubicle with motion sensors and buttons. By tilting the cubicle the color of the visuals changed and the buttons were used to skip through the visuals and to create other effects like blending and scratching. The sculptures are made entirely out of wood and can be disassembled to smaller pieces which are more easy to transport.

Vrijdag 18 maart
gaat het gebeuren dan viert de Dubstep & Grime organisatie: Oi! zijn 7 jarig bestaan in de Paradiso, de plek waar Oi! alweer 7 jaar zijn feestje doet en tevens de langst lopende Dubstep & Grime avond in Amsterdam. En wat begon in de kleine zaal met een handjevol mensen, is inmiddels uitgegroeid tot uitverkochte edities en hostings op div festivalen en een eigen label Oi! Recordings met dit jaar o.a. een release van Benga & Kutz, dit alles moet natuurlijk gevierd worden, en omdat het met het 5 jarig bestaan van Oi! en op Mysteryland zo hard ging, gaan we dit feestje samen vieren met de VageGasten, zij op hun beurt halen de de mannen van Sober en Eigenwijs erbij voor de nodige live art, samen zetten zij de bovenzaal op zijn kop met “Aanwezig!”
Ondanks dat de meeste Dubstep & Grime dj’s al op Oi! hebben gestaan, hebben we toch weer een killer line up, Aller eerst toch een debutant op Oi! de uit Bristol afkomstige, DJ Madd hij loopt al langere tijd mee maar de laatse tijd heeft hij een paar dikke tunes op zijn naam gezet, de perfecte naam om deze avond eens goed op te bouwen,
De volgende naam heeft geen introductie nodig DJ Youngsta, nog steeds een pioneer DJ in de Dubstep, met o.a zijn show op Rinse FM, en ook op producerend gebied is hij steeds actiefer, Youngtsta altijd solid sets en bekend met het Oi! publiek,
Next in line is een killer eerste klas! Afkomstig van het grote Dub Police camp: Trolley Snatcha, vorig jaar op valtifest brak hij de tent af, en nu voor het eerst in de paradiso, deze nog jonge dj heeft al een paar dikke knallers op zijn naam staan en houd zelf ook wel van een goed feestje, dan is hij bij Oi! op de juiste plek.
Natuurlijk kan Gomes Mr Oi! op dit feest niet ontbreken, samen met Brutuzz en Nicon, en vaste Host Drew MC zullen zij het feest compleet maken.
De bovenzaal word ingevuld door de Vagegasten die voor deze speciale editie dus de heren van Sober en Eigenwijs erbij hebben gehaald, verwacht veel live art, en een vette mix van Future UK undergroud sounds! Kortom genoeg reden om het unieke 7 jarig bestaan te komen vieren!

beste mensen, goed nieuws! triphouse rotterdam presents ‘hard mellow park on ice’ gaat door! nadat de oorspronkelijke locatie in het kralingsebos last minute had gecancelled heeft onze crew de stad afgezocht naar een nieuwe geschikte locatie, en die hebben we gevonden! het feest zal aanstaande zondag plaatsvinden in de exit. helaas dus geen ijsbaan en sneeuwballen gevecht (dat was met de regen en dooi toch niet gelukt), maar dat mag de pret niet drukken. jullie zijn welkom vanaf 12:00 uur en we gaan door tot maar liefst 01:00, dus neem maandag maar alvast vrij. zoals eerder gezegd mag je zelf bepalen hoeveel entree je betaalt, let wel op dat je bij de deur het wachtwoord zegt! (zie onderaan) dresscode is tirol on acid, dus hoe meer wintersport attributen des te beter! degene met de meest heftige outfit krijgt een fles bubbels!

AANWEZIG is het nieuwe visual art & music concept van Sober-Industries & Eigenwijs Produkties.
Tijdens de eerste editie van AANWEZIG hebben 20 kunstenaars hun skills getoond tijdens de live art demo en stonden er 20 dj’s achter de decks de 8e verdieping van het groothandelsgebouw te rocken.
Aankomende editie is op 04 februari tijdens het International Filmfestival Rotterdam 2011.
Ditmaal een kleinere opzet, er is plaats voor 200 man, locatie maken we ergens in januari bekend.
